The Unseen of Homecoming
As Mizzou prepares for its 113th annual homecoming, the workers at Jesse Hall Auditorium set up for their busiest week in the fall. Sororities and Fraternities partner up and create skits about Mizzou Homecoming with a theme. 2024’s theme year was historic movies. In a course of two days, every grouping has 1 hour and 25 minutes to rehearse on the stage. This will be the first time the Jesse staff sees the skits. Jesse staff work for the whole week leading up to homecoming to ensure it all goes smoothly.
The lights and curtain at Jesse Auditorium are set for the beginning of Mizzou’s Homecoming week on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024 at Jesse Auditorium in Columbia. Mizzou is called the founder of homecoming after 1911’s football game against The University of Kansas.

As the last rehearsal of the night, Production Dance spaces out their dance on the stage before running it through on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024. Production Dance is a group filled of greek life dancers that auditioned for a special dance during homecoming.
